1. Estimating & Sales Process 

  • Review plans and specifications to understand project scope.

  • Generate detailed estimates and proposals tailored to client needs.

  • Offer alternative solutions and to meet design intent within schedule and budget.

2. Submittal Process 

  • Expedite samples and submittals as needed to meet schedule and lead time.

  • Provide a quality control checklist and product specifications for architect review.

  • Provide all product data and material specifications for architects review

3. Material Procurement 

  • Expedite samples and submittals to allow early material purchasing.

  • Identify and track long-lead items during project setup.

  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely orders.

  • Propose alternatives when lead times threaten the schedule.

  • Perform location-based takeoffs to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.

4. Engineering & Production

  • Complete preliminary engineering based on submittal shop drawings.

  • Use hold-to dimensions to start fabrication once design and finishes are approved.

  • Create templates and match existing conditions as needed.

  • Incorporate field dimensions into final shop drawings for fabrication, install, and as-builts.

  • Leverage collaboration between craftsmen and engineers to deliver complex millwork designs.

5. Delivery & Installation 

  • Fabricate and palletize materials by elevation and room.

  • Label pallets with packing slips and provide shipping manifests for sign-off at delivery.

  • Deliver materials ahead of install for proper acclimation.

  • Coordinate complex millwork items with installers during shop production.

  • Provide custom templates for complex conditions (ceilings, radiused walls, panels, etc.)

  • Collaborate with other subcontractors for optimal field sequencing.

  • Assign a dedicated Field Operations Manager to oversee every project.
